As a Senior Mobile Developer - React Native (d/f/m), you will work within a cross-functional team aimed to work on the development of our mobile apps. Besides these cooperations, you help our users to stay or become healthy by changing their behavior in a sustainable way. Digital health meets insure-tech.

Your tasks & responsibilities

  • You are the spearheading of the development of our mobile apps, including new features of our apps.

  • You work on improving the current app’s codebase by code refactoring, fixing bugs etc.

  • You maintain the code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.

  • You collaborate with our Front End Engineers to align on design principles and CI.

  • You identify, document, and communicate technical improvements within your area of responsibility within the team.

  • You participate in cross-team engineering initiatives as an individual contributor.

  • You support the coaching and onboarding of junior members of our team.

Your Profile

  • You bring a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science / Engineering or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • You show 3-4 years experience with React, React Native, TypeScript, GraphQL and Git.

  • You are familiar with unit and integration testing and comfortable with pair programming.

  • You perform code reviews and support your peers in collaborating with design, product and other engineering colleagues.

  • Passionate about clean code architecture,  software design and craftsmanship.

  • You show high motivation, reliability, and independent work style.

  • You are fluent in written and spoken English, your german skills are a plus.

  • Being familiar with Native development (iOS and/or Android), Code signing for iOS and Android, Firebase or GitHub Actions is a plus
