As a Senior Full-Stack Javascript Developer (d/f/m), you will work within ​our cross-functional team aimed to work with modern JavaScript frameworks like Node.js, and React Native, using GraphQL and Postgres DB. Besides this, you help our users to stay or become healthy by changing their behaviour in a sustainable way. Digital health meets insure-tech.
Your tasks & responsibilities

  • Be part of a young and smart team of Javascript developers.

  • Design and develop hybrid services by using one of the Javascript modern frameworks on both, Backend and Mobile sides.

  • Create new architectures for the services based on Javascript, React Native, GraphQL, and Postgres DB.

  • Migrate existing legacy code to the new microservices architecture.

  • Optimize components and find solutions for maximum performance across devices and browsers.

  • Interact with our backend and mobile development team as well as product owners and UX designers.

  • Advise product owners and stakeholders on the technical feasibility of their ideas.

  • Use Git as a versioning control system and set up, build, and deploy processes via AWS.

Your Profile

  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science / Engineering or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • 3-5 years of experience with our development stack (we use Node js, Typescript, Express JS, React Native, Type GQL, Type ORM, Prisma, Docker, TDD).

  • Experience with Queue and job processing Services like Kafka.

  • A strong grasp and experience with relational databases; including PostgreSQL or MySQL.

  • Creating services around third-party APIs.

  • Experience with debugging, Identifying, and solving reported issues.

  • Knowledge and familiarity with caching strategies and tools.

  • Passionate about clean code architecture, software design, and craftsmanship.

  • Knowledge and familiarity with security and data protection.

  • High motivation, reliability, and independent work style.

  • Fluent English skills and German skills are a plus.

  • If you want to join us remotely, you are working +/- 1 hour away from the CET timezone.
